Kirk Gauthier If you’d asked me years ago if outer space-themed heavy metal would be “a thing,” I would’ve told you you’re out of your mind. But not only is it “a thing,” it kicks ass. If you like bands like Kook, SpaceMetal, and Trickfighters, you’ll dig this album. It’s full of doomy stoner grooves. Favorite track: Spinosaurus.

elhater Here you will find some of the best riffs to headbanging along. Believe me your neck will ache the next day and it will be worth it. Favorite track: Descent.

Doom King While listening to this closely it was fun to hear the splattering of influences throughout. There are moments where it could be The Ocean, Kylesa or Pelican or Unsane and on my fave track the intro and some of the riffery is not that far removed from Remission era Mastodon.
A cool ride indeed...

Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff) Was lucky to hear a promo and this album is a real 'banger' as the kids say. Or do they? Maybe it's just me. Also, saying "decem millennium" just sounds cooler, doesn't it? Favorite track: Gargantuan Forest.

"II"
After narrowly escaping the confines of the strange planet and its surrounding dimension, the "Albatross" and its crew finally returns home to Earth. The re-entry is rough and the ship crashlands in a forest. The earth that greets them is vastly different from the one that they left.
When the ship travelled back to earth through the wormhole it created a rift in the space-time continuum which propelled them far into the future as well as allowing the Green King and other ancient gods from the other dimension to cross over to our dimension. They have since taken control of not just the earth, but the entire solar system.
After various harrowing experiences and encounters, the truth finally dawns on the surviving members of the crew. They are indeed back on earth, but ten thousand years in the future from when they started their journey. And to make matters worse, they find evidence that the Green King have been known and worshipped by secret cults and societies on earth for millenia, since before what we today know as humankind even existed.
The surviving members of the crew come to the conclusion that the only way to set things right again is to repair the "Albatross" and take it back through the rift again in order to close it.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁 Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks.
